happy birthday, sweet baby james | birthday session
The boy who made me a mama is 4 years old today, but I'm pretty sure he's going on twelve.
He loves to dress himself, he actually HAS to pick out his outfit every morning because if you try and pick it out, he suddenly doesn't like it.
He loves shoes, everytime we go to any store, he begs for new shoes. Every. Time. (I'm already preparing myself for when he IS twelve and wants/has a collection of shoes) A few weeks ago, I even had to buy him a pair of pink girl shoes, because $3 shoes isn't worth the hassle of a fit he would throw if I said, no.
He loves to help and be with his dad, anyway he can. He is a full blown daddy's boy through and through. He will ask me all day long, "when is daddy coming home?" "Is daddy here yet?" He waits patiently (for the most part) for him to get home from work - then they are off to the garage or the farm.
He loves his little sister and is always wanting to help. He checks on her all throughout the day and talks to her constantly.
He loves to snuggle at night before bed, but hates giving hugs and kisses during the day. He will even wipe the kisses off after.
He loves to dance, even to all those cheesy commercial music, or to even no music at all. He surely knows how to bust a move. We like to have "10 second party dance" he beats me everytime.
He has one hell of a wild personality. I like to say it's pretty close to a sour patch kid. He is honest, shy but yet outgoing, sensitive, caring and will do anything to make you laugh.
He will always be my baby boy.

April Color Challenge | Personal Project

I originally had this on a different blog, but decided to just share them all here in one spot - to make it easier for me to keep up with!
April I decided to do a theme instead of color, we took a family vacation to South Padre Island and I wanted to show off some photos. So what better way than to make them into a collage!
This idea from another amazing photographer that I recently started following. I thought it was such a great idea to keep my creative flow going - and because, why not? Setting personal goals are great and keep you motivated!

Nicholas Elliott | Birth Photography
I had the pleasure of photographing my little brother, Bryan and sister-in-law's second birth. They arrived at the hospital that morning at 5am to get induced, and I arrived shortly after 9am to hang out with them all day and wait for baby Nicholas to make his appearance.
Nicholas Elliott Neuendorff was born that afternoon, at 6:18. He weight 8 pounds and 8 ounces, and measured 22 inches in length. He was welcomed by his big brother, Ryder. Nicholas is the perfect mixture of his daddy, momma, and big brother.
My first birth to photograph and it was SO powerful. I am so happy I was able to capture the birth of my nephew, and for Bryan and Allie to have lasting memories for a lifetime.
Congratulations, Bryan and Allie! I can not wait to watch these two boys of yours grow! (and to spoil)

Brandon and Laci | Engagement Session
Congratulations to this sweet couple, Brandon and Laci. I am so thrilled to photograph their big day. They were the sweetest and so photogenic. I took so many photos and could of kept going because they just ROCKED it!
They were amazing sports with all the poses we went through. and I couldn't be more happier with the turn out of their session. So magical!
Busselman Girls | Bluebonnet Mini
These two Busselman girls are my nieces, aren't they just precious?! I always enjoy taking their photos, but most importantly I love being their aunt JuJu!

Bluebonnet Mini Success!
I am so thrilled with how these turned out. This bluebonnet spot of mine was PERFECT and just big enough for the little kiddos that came!

Bluebonnet Minis!
Hey! Julianne Busselman Photography here. I have thought about offering minis for a while now, but wasn't sure what kind of minis to offer. I also have been wanting to do bluebonnet minis since 2015, but unfortunately my place-of-choice decided not to grow as awesome anymore. (Working on fixing that for next year!)
Anyhow, this year we have a wonderful patch in the front of our land, and so I decided that here is my chance, and plus why not? So, bluebonnet minis will be held this Sunday the 19th from 10-12 and 5-7 (time change from the AD I made) And the 26th offering the same times.

Jax Bryleigh | Children Portraiture
Time sure is flying by, WAY TO FAST! Yesterday was a BIG day for a sweet little girl I know... my niece, Jax turned ONE!!! Life is so much more enjoyable with her around (and all my other nieces and nephews!) to spoil, and photograph :D!
