Meet the photographer
Hiya, I'm Julianne Busselman.I am married to my high school sweetheart, DJ, and we have 3 kids: James, Haley, and Elsie.
A little backstory about my photography journey:
I can vividly remember asking my mom when I was little to take photos with her camera, and eventually, she started buying disposable camera’s to use—I took a lot of photos—of my siblings, road trips, vacations, school field trips and a lot of different random things.
My interest in photography continued through my teen years and in my senior year of high school, I took a yearbook class. That was when I first shot with a DSLR; FINALLY, not a disposable camera or point-and-shoot camera.
That was when I knew I wanted to be a photographer.
A year after graduating high school and throughout the next five years, I spent countless hours teaching myself camera settings, reaching out to friends and family to build my portfolio and learning everything about owning a successful business.
I wanted to learn more than what I taught myself, so in 2015, I attended Austin Community College. I graduated in 2017 with a professional photography certificate.
I have been photographing professionally for ten years this year! WOW!
It has been an incredible ten years! It has been a dream come true capturing moments through the lens, telling stories of families, couples, and individuals in various settings. Each session has taught me something new, and I am grateful for the trust my clients place in me to document their lives.
